Download Brochures, Manuals, Drivers and Example Software
| Brochure |
Our current sales brochure lists the features and specifications of the
board. In PDF format. (Size: 809 K) |
| Previous Brochure |
An older sales brochure lists the features and specifications of the
board. Not all models listed are stocked. In PDF format. (Size: 302 K) |
Hardware Manual Model 2 |
Our hardware manual describes the board in detail. It includes pinouts
of all connectors, register level communication, etc. (PDF, 371KB) |
Hardware Manual Model 1 |
The hardware manul for our original board. It includes pinouts of
all connectors, register level communication, etc. This MS Word document
is compressed to a zip file. (Size: 2 Meg) |
| DOS Example |
Our DOS example program demonstrates how easy it is to write applications
for our Servo I/O card. This C++ program shows you exactly how to
talk to the card. If you're developing code for our card, the header
file and class library will give you a solid start. This program is
also useful as a quick hardware test, since it exercises most functions
of the board. |
| Linux Example (lstg) |
Essentially, this is our DOS example, modified to run under Linux.
Source code and a pre-compiled executable are included. |
VB Tuning Utility and Windows 95 Driver
VBTune source
|
Our
Windows drivers implement a complete closed loop PID control system.
This application tunes PID coefficients. It is written in Visual Basic
and comes with source code. Since this is a large file, you might
want to look at the readme before downloading
the whole thing. (Size: 5 Meg) |
| Console Application |
A text mode program, like our DOS example, except it's a Win32 console
application which talks to our board through either our Windows 95
or Windows NT driver. |
| Windows 95/98/ME Driver |
A vxd for Windows 9x, implements a closed loop PID algorithm. Compatable
with our Visual Basic example, vbtune, and our console application. |
| Windows NT/2K/XP Driver |
A kernel mode device driver that implements a closed loop PID algorithm.
Works with our Visual Basic example, vbtune, or the console application. |
Windows Driver source code |
Source code for our Windows 95/98 and NT/2K, released under the GNU
Public license. Both platforms are in the zip file, since most code
is shared. The 95/98 code requires Vireo VtoolsD toolkit. The NT driver
requires the DDK. Both were compiled with VC++ 5.0 |
Windows Driver Software Manual |
Windows Driver Software manual covers both the Windows 95 and Windows
NT drivers |
Contributed Software (unsupported by us)
| LabView software |
Contains a LabView driver and an application program, STGboardTest,
written in LabView. The LabView run-time engine is included, so it is not
necessary to have LabView to run the application. STGboardTest is an excellent
way to verify board operation.
